Policies of Reservation FIT & GROUPS
December 15th, 2012 to August 01st, 2013
- Prices are per person. Alcoholic beverages and soft drinks are not included in our packages.
- Casa Corcovado is closed during September 01st through November 14th.
Children’s Packages are based on children under eleven years of age, we do not recommend our hotel for children under 4 years of age. If two or more children share a separate room one will be charge the about rate. - The additional cost for up grade to Junior Suite does not apply for fourth passenger.
- A pre-payment of 100% is required on June 1st 2010, no matter what the passenger’s entry date is. Only if the reservation request arrives after this date, the deadline payment will be indicated in the confirmation of the reservation.
- Casa Corcovado is not responsible for delays in payments in order to guarantee the reservation (prepayment).
- We will reserve the right to charge a HZ Last minute change ($50.00 per reservation) which is applicable in case that reduction in the distribution of rooms takes place 30 days before the arrival date. (I.E: from DBL to SGL or from Adult to Child)
- Also, HZ Last minute change ($50.00per reservation) is applicable in case of a reduction or cancellation of passengers, 22 days prior to their arrival plus the cancellation penalty described below.
Cancellation Policy FIT & Groups
December 15th, 2012 to August 01st, 2013
The following scale of rates will be applied in case of cancellation or modification of a reservation once it has been confirmed by Casa Corcovado.
Nº of days before the Beginning of the Tour
90 days $ 100,00 per person
89 days to 60 days 25% of the package per person
59 days to 45 days 50% of the package per person
Less than 44 days 100% no refund.
Note:
A notification of the cancellation must be sent via mail, fax or e-mail.
A possible charge of the airline company will be estimated in case of cancellation. Any complain for refund must be made via mail or fax within 15 days after the end of the trip. No demand of refund will be taken into account after this time.
No refund will be made for not using the transportation means (plane, ground or sea) for any excursion not taking place once the trip has begun.
Refunds will be limited to the recovered amount minus their operational costs.
Reservations and Deposits
All reservations should be made in writing either by fax, letter, or e-mail
Deposits
A deposit of 100% is required to confirm a reservation
Space will be blocked when deposit is received.
Credit Card Authorization Form is used only as guarantee for the reservation
1- Credit Card Authorization Form must be received 48 hrs after confirmed reservation.
2- Deadline payment will appear in the final quotation. This is the day we must receive the check or wire tranfer in order to guarantee the
reservation.

Final Out Payment
Full payment is required 30 (Thirty) days prior to arrival date, you will find the prepayment date in the confirmation of the reservation. Casa Corcovado is not responsible for any delays in the payment needed to guarantee the booking.

Cancellation Policies
The Following scale of charges will apply when a cancellation is made after
the reservation is confirmed by Casa Corcovado.
Days prior to arrival date:
45 days to 31 days 100% refund of the package per person
30 days to 22 days 75% refund of the package per person
21 days to 15 days 50% refund of the package per person
15 days to 10 days 25% refund of the package per person
= Less 10 days 100% not refund of the package per person.
Note
Notification of cancellation must be in writing, acceptable either by fax or by email.
Any additional airline charges will be assessed for all cancellations.
All request for refund must be writing within 15 days following completion of the trip after which no refund request will be considered.
No refunds will be made for unused air, land, boat or tour arrangements one the trip has commenced.
Refunds, if any will be limited to the amount actually recovered, minus the cost of obtaining such refunds.
Responsabilities and Liability
Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge and its‚ hotel acting as hotel of the passengers and in all matters relating to hotel accommodations, tours, transports, etc, shall not be liable for injury, delays, loss or damage in any manner.
All claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the country in which the action arises. The company reserves the right to employ subcontractors for all or part of the services. In the event of such right the terms of this clause apply. Casa Corcovado S.A reserves the right to decline, accept or retain any person as a member of any tour.
By utilizing the services of the Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge you agree that neither Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge nor any representative shall be liable for death, any accident, injury, property damage or personal loss to a client or those traveling with him or in connection with any accommodations, transportations or other travel services, or resulting directly or indirectly form any occurrences or conditions beyond the control of Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge, including but no limited to, acts of terrorism, war, strikes, theft, delay or cancellation of or changes in itinerary or schedules.
Medical services or facilities may not be readily available or accessible during all or part of the trip. You are responsible for selecting a trip appropriate to your liabilities and interests. You are responsible for insuring that you are in sufficient good health to undertake the trip, and that you are prepared for the trip by studying the itinerary and pre-departure materials sent by Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge.
Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge requires that all participants be covered by appropriated life, accident and medical insurance and that they be financially responsible for such expenses. We also recommend that all participants insure their personal property from loss and theft. Casa Corcovado is not responsible for any costs or losses resulting from such events. Many of the activities involved are inappropriate for persons with severe health problems or physical disabilities, which inhibit walking or other activities. It is the passenger‚s responsibility to judge the appropriateness of these travel activities in regard to his/her physical capabilities. Every passenger has to check the level of difficulty rating and decide whether this tour is for them..
