We cannot say enough about Casa Corcovado - there are no words to describe how great it was to be sitting outside eating a fancy 4-star meal while howler monkeys yelled and swung by in threes - FABULOUS! Even the picnics were 4-star - alot better than our picnics here - we use paper plates to put our food on!

My husband and I are still trying to come down to earth after our glorious 3-night stay at Casa Corcovado. Everything there was done beautifully and efficiently - largely a credit to you as manager. The staff were wonderful, the day trips educational and fun, and the whole atmosphere was magical. All of the guests we spoke with agreed that we felt most priviledged to be there. We do hope to return and in the meantime will be sending everyone we know who would enjoy an extraordinary experience blending nature, comfort, safety and wonder.

I wanted to write and express my thanks to you and your staff for the excellent holiday that we recently experienced. Everything - from the cleanliness of bungalow 6 to the guided tours to the friendliness of the staff was exceptional and we were delighted with the whole experience.

In particular, I would like to commend Manfred Garcia Leon for his exceptional abilities. He was a magnificent guide but perhaps more impressive was watching the way that he adapted to each of the guests and tried to find ways not only to relate to each of the guests but to respect their interests and needs. He is clearly an ourstanding communicator and a real asset to the Lodge. I hope that we can return and that he will still be working at the Lodge. there is a great deal that I believe we could learn from Manfred.

The quality of the food was varied and at times was not quite as good as we might have liked but considering the level of service and the attention to detail this was only a minor concern.

The new dining room was excellent and I really think that it helped to turn off the water flow during the meal to assist with conversation (on our first night the water flow was turned back on after the announcements and it was a bit difficult to hear ourselves talk).

In the dining room and bar, Daniel, Jamie and Roberto were excellent and very attentive servers.

Finally I would like to commend you and the staff for your extraordinary concern about safety of the guests particularly as we landed and boarded the boats. Everyone was very friendly and courteous at all times and it was a pleasure to interact with all the staff. Again the concern and the attention to detail was exceptional.

All in all, the care of the staff made this a holiday of a life time for us. We really appreciate your help and support and i hope that you will extend my thanks to ALL the staff.

Finally, let me commend you on the balance achieved between the luxury of the accommodation and the wilds of the jungle: the commsumerism of the tourists and the interests in the environment.

We could not have asked for better.

Mauricio and Roberto were everywhere! The dining room at 5:00 am, snacks at the pool mid-day, the sunset bar, dinner, and finally at the bar until closing time. They worked tirelessly to ensure our pleasure! Great job guys.

Luis oversaw everything and helped us set up a private tour to Sirena with Carlos. Luis was there to meet all our needs and then some!

Finally, Carlos. What a knowledgeable young man. He gave us a wildlife viewing trip of a lifetime! It seemed that magically, tapirs, sloths and macaws appeared out of nowhere. His instincts and jungle experience were
self-evident.

Keep up the good work! We are telling all our friends and family of our experiences at Corcovado. In the future, Robin and myself would like to return to continue the adventure!
