The larger of Casa Corcovado’s two pools, el Solar, is located near the bar and the manager’s office. The shallow end is separated from the deep end, providing a safe area for young swimmers. There are loungers, and chairs and tables with umbrellas, potted palms and bougainvillea on the flagstone surrounds. And for those who want to be poolside but out of the sun, there’s a tiled-roof rancho where you can also order a light lunch, while enjoying the sounds of the rainforest and the waterfall, inspired by Mexican architect, Luis Barragán.
We are proud that our pool uses only solar energy to recycle the water. The pump runs during daylight hours directly from the photovoltaic solar panels located on the roof of the dining room.
